To becoming successful to losing weight, or accomplishing any goal. Set a goal for yourself, find motivation you can tie to it. Whether Idols or public speakers, quotes, pictures. When I decided I wanted my goal to be becoming a fitness model, I researched how realistic my goal could be. I found many idols that bring different scenarios. Some were just over weight that changed their lives and lost the weight and became fitness models. Others had medical problems that motivated them to become fit. One of my all time favorites is a mother of 5 that is a fitness model. That inspires me. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sarah-Camryn/175216092539597 The same goal I have, and seeing that my goal is very much realistic and can be accomplished. It's the same for anyone; pianists look up to Mozart or Beethoven, painters look up to Michelangelo, singers to their favorite artist... so on and so forth. You're dreams are never too far out of your reach, it just depends on how hard you are willing to work to getting there. I don't only workout and eat healthy for my goal, but for my health. I want to be able to experience everything my life has to offer.
I'd say the steps to motivating yourself would be 1. Set a goal, a realistic one even if it seems small. 2. Find inspiration, and Idol something you can look up to to remind you that your goal is possible. 3. Surround yourself in positivity, friends and family that believe in you but if not you don't need anyone but yourself.
4. Find the tools or path you need to follow to make your dreams come true. 5. Consistency, Every day and every hour think over what you could do to improve your ways of life to get you closer to your goal. 6. Believe in yourself, know that you are good enough and that you deserve to have your dreams come true.
At the end of the day no one can do it for you, You have to get yourself there. I'm a completely different person than I was a year and half ago, And I couldn't be happier.
